Join us for a 60 minute virtual panel discussion on four varying experiences of loss. As we come together to honor this part of these fatherhood journeys, we will hear their stories, learn how different yet similar experiences can be, how it is experienced from a father’s perspective, and the power of storytelling to reduce the stigma that surrounds pregnancy and infant loss. This special panel, made up of four fathers will discuss their own personal stories of pregnancy and infant loss. Attendees will watch the panel discussion with an option to ask questions to panelists.

Our goal for our Community Conversations is to give a voice to the grieving and break the silence and stigmas that exist in the pregnancy and infant loss community. We want our audience to feel less alone by hearing other voices in the community sharing similar stories to their own. We also want to provide helpful resources and tools that encourage overall holistic healing for those grieving.

Rob is a musician, father, husband, and Executive Director/Co-Founder of SAD DADS CLUB. He currently lives in Falmouth, Maine with his wife, Tehilah, and their rainbow baby, now 5-year old son, Dallas. Rob and Tehilah’s daughter and forever firstborn, Lila, was delivered stillborn at 38 weeks. Rob co-founded SAD DADS CLUB alongside Jay (Bella’s dad) and Chris (Izzy’s dad) as a way for fathers to connect and support one another through the unique complexities of infant and child loss from the father’s perspective. The now-global community has nurtured a space for men to be vulnerable and expressive with one another. SAD DADS CLUB is working to redefine masculinity and showcase the strength, power, and benefits of being emotionally in touch and expressive in healthy ways.

Evan Pucillo
Evan Pucillo is a proud father of three: Elena Rose (7), Giovanni (2), and Joseph Angelo (would be 4). He is married to a strong, intelligent, and absolutely beautiful woman, Marie. Evan is a professor of physical therapy, a researcher, and an avid surfer. He enjoys the sunshine and water nearly as much as he loves his family. Sadly, however, Evan and Marie are navigating life after having lost a son. Joseph Angelo was born prematurely in February of 2021, only to live a few short hours. As that tragedy unfolded, Evan helplessly watched his wife slowly slip away after hemorrhaging from a complicated labor. Thankfully, doctors were able to save Marie with emergency surgery and blood transfusions. Yet, the trauma and grief of that evening weigh heavy to this day. Now, each day brings something new as they seek to live a meaningful life in the face of immeasurable loss.
