A Note From Our Founder
As I reflect on this year, I’m struck by the depth of care, courage, and connection that continues to define this community. Pregnancy and infant loss can be isolating in ways that are difficult to put into words — and yet, again and again, I have witnessed what becomes possible when people are met with compassion, understanding, and space to grieve.
This year, families showed up with honesty and bravery, trusting us with their stories and their babies’ names. Providers leaned in, seeking education and support so they could better care for families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Partners and collaborators worked alongside us to strengthen systems of care and expand access to grief-informed support.
I am deeply grateful to every person who made this work possible — the parents who allowed us to walk with them, the facilitators and educators who hold space with such care, the donors and community members who believe in this mission, and the partners who continue to help us imagine what more compassionate care can look like.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same: to ensure that no one is left alone after pregnancy or infant loss and during pregnancy after loss, and that families and providers alike are supported with dignity, empathy, and hope.
Thank you for being part of this community and for carrying this work forward with us.
With gratitude,
Kiley Hanish
