WISHLIST PROGRAM
The Return to Zero Wishlist Program is a community space where parents and providers can request sponsorship for support and materials that aren’t within their budget.
Those wishing to sponsor support for a bereaved family or supply brochures to an underserved community can do so with confidence in knowing exactly where their donation is going.
Parent Requests

At our retreat, bereaved mothers navigating the profound grief of pregnancy and infant loss will find a safe and nurturing space where they can connect with others who understand this journey. We know that grief can be isolating, and our compassionate environment encourages sharing stories and emotions in a supportive community.
Led by experienced facilitators, our carefully curated program includes reflective workshops, guided meditations, and expressive art sessions. Each activity is tailored to help process feelings, honor loss, and begin the journey towards integration.
By sponsoring retreat attendance for someone who may not be able to afford it, you’re giving them a chance to rediscover hope and resilience, while leaving with newfound tools for coping, a deeper understanding of their feelings, and connections with fellow mothers who share their experiences.

Provider Requests
By sponsoring one of the provider requests below, you’re supplying brochures that will help providers guide bereaved families in their time of need.
Each year, Return to Zero: Hope sends hundreds of free brochure sample sets to perinatal loss providers of all types across the U.S. For every $15 donated, that helps us cover our printing and shipping costs to send one brochure sample set. Will you donate and help us continue to get these resources into the hands of those that need them?
The RTZ Brochures are a beautiful set of resources to provide compassionate, informed support to bereaved parents at their greatest moments of need. Each of the guides in this bundle covers topics that parents—and those who love them—will find helpful as they navigate their loss.

This wishlist request comes from the Bereavement Coordinator at Union Health in Terre Haute, Indiana.
“I am a full time coordinator and assist loss families through their loss if it happens in the hospital and also provide follow up care for all losses. Sometimes patients do not want in person support but like to have materials to take home. It's important to be able to send them home with materials that are helpful and pertinent to their situation.”

This wishlist request comes from The Vessel is Me Project in Uganda.
“Since its founding in December 2018, Vessel Is Me has provided a safe space where bereaved parents can come together to share their experiences, find community, and begin the healing journey. Each year, we provide direct emotional support to over 300 families through our unique peer-to-peer model—helping parents know they are not alone and that others have walked this path before them. As Uganda's only provider of perinatal bereavement support services, we are at the forefront of a movement to improve bereavement care, influence policy, and inspire widespread understanding of the needs of grieving parents. This gift would empower our angel parents with information and knowledge on how to heal forward on this grief journey and would be tools that our staff and Hope givers would use to support the parents and their families.”

This wishlist request comes from a Labor & Delivery RN at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.
“We typically see between 30-50 fetal demises a year. We do not currently have a budget for our fetal demise materials so most of what we have comes from donations I apply for. Having updated brochures for our patients would mean the world to them and us. Being able to comfort patients during their worst times.”

This wishlist request comes from the Executive Director of Women’s Services at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, Louisiana.
“Our labor and delivery unit serves a rural, underprivileged area of Louisiana. We are blessed to have staff that frequently purchase bereavement items using their own personal funds, however we are not provided an adequate budget to cover all of the resources that we know would benefit our loss families. Being gifted the requested resources would allow us to use our personal and limited funds to purchase improved mementos for our grieving families.”
