WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

become a RTZ HOPetober LUMINARY

what is a luminary?

HOPEtober Luminaries (formerly our Ambassador Program) partner with us during the month of October to be an advocate and ambassador in spreading awareness and shining a light on pregnancy and infant loss.

Luminaries can be anyone who has been touched by pregnancy and infant loss and has a story they want to share. This year our goal is to get to 150 Luminaries to spread hope to others navigating the pregnancy and infant loss journey.

share your story

Luminaries will work with us to share their story, words of wisdom, and heartfelt affirmations to others on this journey. Through our sign-up form’s gently guided questions and prompts, we’ll create a unique page for each ambassador and their story.

In sharing, we all contribute to a brighter, more understanding world, where the pain of loss is met with empathy and shared hope. By opening up, you help build a compassionate community where every experience is honored and where those navigating similar storms can find solace and strength. Your voice matters, and together, our stories create a network of light and support that makes the journey a little less lonely.

spread awareness

Even though so many of us have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, or know someone who has, it is a loss that exists in the shadows. As bereaved parents, we feel isolated and alone. But together, we can shine a light on pregnancy and infant loss, helping others to live a life that holds both grief and joy.

By sharing our stories we’re bringing awareness to pregnancy and infant loss, as well as the resources and support that exist through Return to Zero: Hope. As a nonprofit, raising awareness and funds are essential to our cause and support programs. Donors often feel compelled to support a cause when personal stories, like yours, are shared.

This is the first time I’ve shared my story on social media. There is definitely something healing about being able to share our stories so publicly.
