A Guide to Embodied Grief For Providers

How do you hold space for a client’s grief when it bumps up against the pain of your own unresolved grief? Your role as a practitioner is to the be container for your client and hold all the complicated and intense emotions that are part of grieving. However, holding space for their profound grief can reawaken your own experiences and coping strategies around loss. This will impact the work you are doing with your client.
