Estefania, Spreading HOPE for Noa, Alessa, Alia, Luca

Ambassador Estefania Miramontes, fundraising in memory of noa, alessa, alia, and luca

“I never thought the path to become a mother will be as hard as it has been, but here I am, still hoping it will happen some day.

Although, I’m proud to say that I am a mother of 4 angels, Noa who I lost at 7 weeks, Alessa whose heart never beat, Alia who I had to let go at 4 months after the doctors told us her skull didn’t form and she could suffer even in my whom and die after birth, and Luca whose heart stop beating at 8 weeks. It’s because of them I’m hopeful, resilient and stronger. But most of all it’s because of them I want to increase awareness, understanding, as well as reduce shame, stigma and judgment.

No one should have to go through any type of pregnancy loss without compassion, support and empathy.

I invite you to share your history, it could be a way to keep your baby/babies memory alive, like it has done for me, and connect with others going through this devastating type of loss, you are not alone, I’m here for you!”

Pregnancy and infant loss is an unique type of loss, leaving the grievers to feel isolated and unsure of how to move forward. We'd be grateful if you you would consider making a contribution to Estefania’s fundraiser in honor of Noa, Alessa, Alia, and Luca. Your gift ensures that other parents who endure loss on their journey to parenthood have the support, resources, and community they need in order to navigate life after loss.

With your support, here’s what we were able to accomplish during 2022 (2022 Annual Report):

  • Fifty percent of support group participants received financial support to ensure that all parents have access to services.

  • Enhanced outreach to and created support services for Black, Indigenous, and other Communities of Color as a response to the alarming rate of preterm births and stillbirths caused by racial disparities in perinatal and infant health.

  • Offered 50 different support group programs (virtual workshops, virtual support groups, and in-person retreats) to our community of bereaved families.

  • Supplied our unique perinatal bereavement guides to 400 hospitals and providers to assist in caring for grieving families.

  • Hosted 10 perinatal bereavement education webinars to parents and providers.

  • Created community and spread awareness about pregnancy and infant loss through social media.
